Wanaka Homestead is a small Wanaka bed and breakfast just 200m from the shores of Lake Wanaka. It might more correctly be described as a friendly five bedroom boutique Wanaka bed and breakfast or by winter, a "ski lodge". 

Accommodation choices 

This Wanaka bed and breakfast prides itself on choice, with either "room only" or "bed and breakfast" options in the bed and breakfast lodge, or, alternatively two charming cottages which are fully self-contained and serviced. 

There are just ten bedrooms in this Wanaka bed and breakfast. The rooms are distributed between three award-winning stone and timber buildings which are environmentally friendly and historically sensitive. Set against a majestic parkland backdrop Wanaka Homestead is also an ideal base for small weddings, and a private and intimate Wanaka bed and breakfast lodge venue for groups, conferences or other exclusive uses. All accommodation is rated "Qualmark 4 star plus" by Tourism New Zealand, has radiant underfloor heating, high build quality and is serviced daily. 

The Homestead - Wanaka bed and breakfast accommodation

Purpose-built for maximum guest comfort, the Homestead offers informal sophistication in five spacious super-king or twin bedrooms. Each guest bedroom has ensuite facilities, fine linen, telephone, writing desk and other special touches designed to make you feel at home. The point of difference for the "master" bedroom is a huge California king bed and double showers and basins. Awaken to coffee aromas and a delicious continental and/or cooked Wanaka breakfast prepared by your friendly hosts. The comfortable guest lounge is yours to enjoy and by evening is the ideal place to sample a complimentary local wine or beer by the roaring log fire of this friendly little Wanaka bed and breakfast.

Self-Contained Cottages - a self-catering alternative to our Wanaka bed and breakfast accommodation.

For apartment style accommodation with real warmth, we offer two self-contained character cottages. The two-bedroom "cottage" and three-bedroom "barn" provide "Qualmark 4 star plus" luxury, each with generous living areas and guests enjoying all-inclusive facilities, in common with guests in the adjacent Homestead.
